Welcome to Otterbourne Hides & Studio
a family-run setting dedicated to wildlife photography.
At the centre of what we do is our established falconry centre, home to a range of birds of prey. Alongside this, our purpose-built photography hides provide exceptional access to a variety of species, including kingfishers, woodland birds, buzzards, foxes, and even wild tawny owls.
Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, our setting is designed to give you the time, space, and conditions needed to create memorable images.
In addition to our outdoor experiences, we also offer a fully equipped photography studio available for hire—ideal for portrait, product, or creative work.
Meet the Family
Pete
Pete is the founder and owner of Otterbourne Hides & Studio. His passion for photography and wildlife inspired him to create the business and develop it into the unique environment it is today. Pete has worked extremely hard to build the beautiful site we operate from, with every animal cared for as part of the family.
Pete has travelled all over the world, yet there is no place he would rather be than his own “back yard” here in Otterbourne, surrounded by the wildlife and nature he loves most.
