Wild Tawny Owl Workshop

Experience this amazing opportunity of photographing the wild tawny owls here at Otterbourne Hides. This flash workshop gives photographers the opportunity to capture stunning close-up images of these beautiful nocturnal birds as they visit a variety of natural perches and woodland props.

Food is placed on selected setups to encourage regular owl activity, often resulting in multiple visits throughout each session. This creates a fantastic opportunity for a wide range of flight shots and portraits.

Professional flash systems are fully set up and managed by Pete, allowing you to focus entirely on photography. Gimbals are mounted and ready to use inside the hides. Pete is on hand throughout the workshop to assist with camera settings, lighting setups, and shooting techniques.
